A hike in forest around the village of La Celle, to discover its Abbey and many panoramas particularly the sight on the Roc de Candelon.

1- Go towards the center of the village, walk past the Abbey and take the street of Fontvieille.
2- Take the street to the right and continue on the track.
3- Take the road on your left.
4- Take the track to the right and take the path " Le Candelon ". Continue on this track up to the next intersection.
5- Take the track on your right-hand side.
6- Take on your right-hand side and leave two paths on your left. Continue up to the intersection of four tracks.
7- Take the track on your left.
8- Continue quite straight ahead to join the point of departure.

Noteworthy places

Abbaye Royale de la Celle. Built in the XI and XIIth centuries, the Abbey of La Celle belongs to Provençal Romanesque style. This monument was sold during the Revolution to be used as agricultural building. It was afterward transformed into a luxury hotel. It is henceforth property of Conseil Général du Var which authorizes conducted tours.
A wooden Christ of the XIth century and altarpiece of the XVth century are visible in the Romanesque Chapel which was transformed into parochial church.
