A hike in the region Midi-Pyrénées
An excursion to discover the golden age of French railroad, upon the
time of the construction of viaducts and stone tunnels. A travel at the time of stream locomotiv.
1- Across the old station, takes on your left, continue on the old railway.
2- After the tunnel "l'arbre feuille", close a dilapidated guard barrier maisonette on your right, take the way on your left.
3- A the end of the way, take the road which goes up to a hairpin bend.
4 - Take the way opposite, do not go up on the road.
5 Take the tarred way, to go down to the small stonebridge.
6- Take the way on the right, pass
Merdanson (little bridge), take the small path on your left. 30 m further, take a steep path which goes up in the wood, pass on an old bridge which crosses the old way, continue through wood.
7- Take the road on your left, pass the bridge, take on your right. 50 m further oblique towards the railway and return to the station.
