A hike in the region Languedoc-Roussillon

Let be surprised by an unusual place: visit La Roque-sur-Cèze, one of the Most beautiful Villages in France. Both Nature and History gave this place its charm, either that it lies in the famous waterfalls or along the alleys of the city! The trails around the village provide a good way to appreciate the country and to get an overview on the situation of this place nestled in a meander of the river Cèze.

1- From the car park, go towards the village. Cross the bridge and turn to the right. At the next crossroads, turn to the left.
2- Take the street "chemin du Mistral" on your left. At the crossing, go straight ahead in the street "Grande Rue", and at the end turn to the left onto the road "chemin de Bellefeuille". Continue up to reach a trail.
3- Continue on the track. Leave two paths on the right, and go to the next intersection.
4- Take the right track, go past the bend, and continue up to the next crossing.
5- Take the right track. Some metres farther, you will see a small hovel in ruins on the right.
6- Take the road on your right. At the crossing, take the right road, and continue on the road "chemin du Plan" up to reach the intersection of sections 1 and 2.
7- Come back to the starting point by the same section as the first one.
