And also all the local cultural events as transhumance festivals, reconstruction of history such as ancient village life. The NetRando Company invite the tourism offices and other local partners to promote these demonstrations.
The inscription is free (just contact us). Nevertheless, NetRando's team will reserve the liberty to make a selection in order to avoid inopportune submissions.
Aquatrail, les défis
NetRando's team is glad to endorse Aquatrail, which is a French association on the initiative of two athletes practicing extreme endurance sports. Four swimming challenges (défi is the French word for challenge) have been planed. The aim of these challenges is to collect money for the non-governmental organization Sport Sans Frontières, which helps worldwide, by means of sport, women and children victims of war and poverty.
Aveyron Department
From 14th July to 15th August : 10th edition of Festival de la Randonnée Pleine Nature (Outdoor and Hiking Festival) around Espalion and on the cantons of the Northern Aveyron. NetRando hosts the full program (in French) of this festival which proposes many activities and is finding increasing success.
Currently : A Chaque Dimanche Sa Rando - weekly hikes supervised by the Committee for Aveyron of FFR (Fédération Française de Randonnée).
From 06 till 13 September, 2008: on the road to Santiago de Compostela, one week to discover the way from Aubrac to Conques. Accommodation in VALVVF, Espalion. A bus shuttle leads you on and back every day. Consult the program of VALVVF of Espalion (in French).
Gironde Department
